I had one given to me by a Chinese at school.
I know someone who made up his own Chinese name and chose either 天子 (Son of Heaven) or 皇帝 (Emperor). It was rather special.

I wonder what would happen if I tried the same trick? Taking the Japanese pronunciation of my Chinese name. (Just tried checking it out, but with so many pronunciations out there, I have no idea which combinations would actually sound acceptable as names).

I misread the "ton" part of "Newton" -- took it literally as "ton" (the measurement), and not as in "town", and I didn't really get my mistake until I took a closer look at the kanji you were using.
