the e-yellowpages free wifi thing is interesting. (http://www.eyp.ph). min purchase of 30 pesos food in a restaurant entitles you to a free wifi card with a login that is valid for three hours. (but there is something else here about expiring 24 hours from firsy use).

i think it's a neat way of doing things, and it looks like they've closed off the possibilities for abuse while still leaving reasonable terms for the customers.

Starbucks is doing that now; purchasing anything from the store with their stored-value card in the past 30 days gets you 2 hours of Wi-Fi a day in their stores.

Kind of a neat deal.

I love free wifi :-) I wonder if they've implemented that in Starbucks all over the world or only in select countries/regions.
