Hm, I was considering burning off a ton of movies and pics... DVDs are dependable back-up naman no? :-s

I am not sure how long they last *G* Not permanent, I think, but at least a few years? Really important data, you should probably think of reburning a new copy after a few years be safe (but for movies, etc, not a big deal)

And not quite stop the sizzling, but move it off the sizzling part, onto the togue or rice to shield it from the heat.
